Here at NCP, we're looking for a Junior Learning & Development Business Partner to support the creation and delivery of L&D strategies and contribute to build a continuous learning culture. This role works closely with business to ensure L&D initiatives are aligned with business goals, and the organisation has a competent and well-trained workforce capable of delivering our operational, statutory, and professional objectives. This is a diverse role which independently leads L&D initiatives and solutions including needs identification, design, delivery and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with stakeholders to establish current and future learning objectives, carrying out training needs analysis activity, to include (but not limited to) assessment of managerial competency, technical and statutory competency and skill requirements.
- Support the Learning & Development Business Partner to create career path development program to drive career development.
- Design and deliver training programs and solutions based on business needs, imbedding 70/20/10 design methods or other learning models.
- Support with content creation for different soft skills and management trainings.
- Design and deliver trainings on HR topics for people managers, such as performance management, giving and receiving feedback, career development, difficult conversations.
- Work with HRBP team to provide trainings for managers and colleagues when launch of new HR processes and practices.
- Leverage on learning technologies to provide innovative, interactive and personalised learning experiences to colleagues.
- Support the deployment of change management initiatives to drive organisational transformation.
- Analyse training data to provide insights on training effectiveness and make improvement suggestions.
- Manage essential training programs to ensure compliance with statutory requirements (eg. Mandatory Trainings, Health & Safety trainings, etc.)
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to create function specific trainings.
- Establish and manage Apprenticeship Levy program.
- Establish structured framework on logistics management and streamline different L&D processes.
- Develop and maintain the Training Toolkit that aims to empower local teams to develop training plans and build internal SME trainer pools for operational or technical trainings.
- Create communications on various initiatives to support the launch of these initiatives.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with external suppliers and consulting partners.
- Other duties and tasks in line with the work level of this post. It may be amended from time to time within the scope and general level of responsibility attached to this role.

Your skillset and Experience:
- Sound knowledge of learning theories and principles, with experience in applying 70/20/10 learning design methods.
- Sound knowledge of instructional design.
- Experience in training facilitation with various soft skills and management topics.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management and organisation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong data analysis skills with ability to develop KPIs and utilise metrics to drive insight and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Strong adaptability and learning agility.
- Strong business acumen with good understanding of working in complex corporate environment.
- Competent level of proficiency in the Microsoft suite and learning management systems.
- Experience of working within the retail or manufacturing sector will be advantageous.
